Downtown Far Rockaway Public Workshop

Downtown Far Rockaway has been awarded $4.5 million through NewYork State’s NY Forward program for projects that create jobs and improvequality of life. A Local Planning Committee made up of community leaders isdeveloping a vision for the future of Downtown Far Rockaway and willrecommend projects by the end of the year based on community input. On July 17th at 6:30pm, come out and join the meetings and give your input as to what you want to see and how the money should be spent.
