Greetings Neighbor!

ECCA’s Next Meeting: in the last newsletter, we stated our next meeting will be on October 2nd but we will keep you posted on a date.

There has been much talk about ADU’s (Accessible Dwelling Units). This bill was passed by Governor Hochul and it has many homeowners furious while some are taking full advantage click here

Floyd Bennett Field is now being used to house possibly 7,500 migrants and local politicians file a law suit click here

Migrants are able to apply for a work permit while receiving benefits click here

Updates from Elected Officials

Election Day is November 7th. There are a few of our elected officials that are up for re-election and Judges as well. Please take time out to study who each candidate is, what they represent and their track record. Click here to find out who’s on the ballot and here to find out what District you belong to and where to vote.

This is still Senior Appreciation Month but let’s keep the momentum going! Our Seniors paved the way for us so every month is Senior Appreciation Month and there are still activities going on for our Seniors.
