NYCEDC Raise Shorelines Citywide: Mott Basin

My name is Angie Espino and I'm reaching out on behalf of NYCEDC about a critical community resiliency initiative in Far Rockaway.

NYCEDC has been working on behalf of MOECJ in managing the Raise Shorelines Citywide initiative to address vulnerability of NYC shorelines due to sea level rise.

We’re currently working to get to the word out on the most recent effort of the initiative located along the Mott Basin shoreline in Far Rockaway. This Thursday, 6/29 at 6pm we’ll be hosting a community townhall at the Glory Light Tabernacle Church and wanted to invite you and your members to join us and help us share the information about the event.
